All the interested and eligible candidates who have completed B.Ed. courses under the university compulsorily must appear and pass in this entrance test.

Educational Qualification: Candidates with at least 50% marks (in aggregate) in either Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities; OR Graduate in Engineering/Technology of Dibrugarh University, or any other University recognized by Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification as equivalent, are eligible for admission to the programme.
A candidate securing 50% or more marks in Honours/Major subject, but less than 50% marks in aggregate in all the courses/papers of Bachelor’s degree can apply for B.Ed. will not be eligible for admission. the program, having 50% marks in aggregate as a requirement.
Relaxation: In the eligibility criteria, a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PWD categories. OR At least 5 years teaching experience in a school recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam at least up to 10th standard.
Application Fee: The applicant should have completed B.Ed. CET Fee Rs. 700/- only through Online Payment Gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking during Form Submission. No other mode of payment is acceptable.

Selection Procedure for B.Ed Admission
Candidate selection for admission to B.Ed program in any educational institution under Dibrugarh University will be based on the following criteria.
- Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted centrally, carrying a maximum of 70 marks.
- There shall be a maximum of 30 marks in career performance based on the percentage obtained in HSLC, HS, 1st degree and/or master’s degree examination.
- 10% of the percentage of marks obtained in HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree examination will be considered as career performance in each examination.
