Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from various employment exchanges in Assam has been digitized by the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship in Assam. Since 27th September 2021, the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Government of Assam has digitized the entire Employment Exchange Registration process. Eligibility Criteria for Registration in Employment Exchanges of Assam

Age Limit: Citizens of India and permanent residents of Assam above the age of 14 are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of Assam.

Domicile: Candidates are eligible for registration with a single Employment Exchange only in the state where they reside permanently within the jurisdiction of the District.

NOC for Employed Candidates: Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after the production of a “No Objection Certificate” issued by the employer

Documents Required for Online Employment Exchange Registration

Mobile Number: To complete the online registration process, candidates must provide a valid and active mobile number.

Documents Related to Educational Qualification: All certificates and marks sheets must be submitted as one PDF. Please note that all copies need to be scanned and clearly readable, otherwise your application may be rejected.

Age Proof: Applicants are required to submit one of the following documents as their proof of age.

  • Birth Certificate.
  • HSLC Admit Card.
  • School Certificate.

Proof of Residency: Candidates must submit one of the following documents to prove their residence.

  • Adhar Card
  • Driving License (Self or Parents).
  • Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (Self or Parents).
  • Copy of Passport (Self or Parents).
  • Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (Self or Parents).

Caste Certificate: Candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, or EWS must upload their caste certificate.

PWD: PWD (Person with Disability) candidates have to upload a disability certificate issued by the competent authority.

Experience Certificate: Candidates who have already been employed may upload their certificates of experience.

Non- Creamy Layer Certificate: OBC/ MOBC-NCL candidates may upload Non- Creamy Layer Certificate as applicable.

Registration Fee for Assam Employment Exchange Certificate

Registration with the Employment Exchange is a totally free process, and there is no application fee or registration fee associated with it.

Renewal of Employment Exchange Registration Certificate Assam

  • Registrants must renew their registration every three (3) years in the month indicated on their registration card.
  • In the event that the registration is not renewed within 3 months of the expiration date, the registration will be canceled and removed from the Employment Exchange’s Live Register.
  • Registrations cannot be renewed after the due month and grace period have expired.

How to Apply for Online Employment Exchange Registration Assam?

Candidates who want to register their names in Employment Exchanges through online mode must submit the application on the official portal of Government of Assam. The online process to generate the Employment Exchange Registration Certificate was launched on 27th September 2021. Online Employment Exchange Registration consists of two modes – AADHAAR based verification and non-AADHAAR based verification. Here are a few highlights of each mode of verification.

AADHAAR Based Verification

Candidates may apply online through an official portal using their AADHAAR card if they have a permanent address within Assam state. Candidates don’t need to go to the Employment Exchanges physically. This method is simple and easy.  Following is the online application process for AADHAAR-based verification.

  • Click on the Online Exchange Card Registration link.
  • A new tab will open with the application portal.
  • The registration process can be done with the help of your mobile number.
  • Login to the portal by providing your User ID and Password.
  • Choose Register in Employment Exchange (AADHAAR Based) option.
  • You must now fill out all asked and required information.
  • You must upload the required files in the specified format and size.
  • Once the registration process is complete, the e-certificate will be available for download.

Non-AADHAAR Based Verification

If candidates choose to opt for Non-AADHAAR-based document verification, they need to go to the employment office for documentation verification. They need to select the employment office, date, and time for the verification. The registration certificate must be obtained at the office where the candidate was scheduled on the day of their appointment. Following are the steps for the online application for Non-AADHAAR-based verification.

  • A new tab will open with the application portal.
  • Fill out the registration process with your mobile number.
  • Please enter your UserID and Password and log in to the portal.
  • Choose Register in Employment Exchange (Non-AADHAAR Based) option.
  • Choose a date and time for document verification.
  • Please visit the employment office to verify your documents.
  • Make sure you follow the guidelines and process.
  •  After you have completed the process, you will receive an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
