13 injured, 2 dead in Philadelphia shooting, police say
Three people were killed and more than a dozen wounded in a barrage of gunfire from multiple shooters on South Street in Philadelphia.
This all happened shortly before midnight on Saturday when patrolling police heard several gunshots from the 200 block of South Street.
Inspector DF Paes said during a press conference on Sunday morning that those officers saw several active shooters firing at the crowd.
One of the officers opened fire on a shooter. It is not clear whether the suspect was killed, Paes said.
At least two guns were recovered from the scene, and Pace said one of them had an extended magazine.
'Many' shell covers were found with blocks 200 and 300.
In all, 14 people were hit by the bullets. Three of those victims died and 11 others were injured.
Two men and a woman were among those killed. Several bullets have been hit on the body of all three.
