You could make $13,000 on your 2000s quarter

One minting error caused the value of a 2000s quarter to jump, according to a COIN collector.

Blake Alma, a coin dealer, displayed to his audience the quarter that just sold for more than $13,000.

This time, he displayed an outrageous error that turned out to be worth thousands of dollars.

He said in the video, "This quarter is simply ridiculous. It's a penny that was struck on a state quarter for New Hampshire.

The coin was given the grade of MS-65, which qualifies it as "gem uncirculated."

The grading designates the quarter as "an uncirculated coin with relatively minor distracting blemishes or defects," according to Heritage Auctions.

This grade is not much below MS-70, which is described as "an absolutely perfect coin."
