Jimmy Kimmel interviews President Biden at the Garden State gas station on Thursday, explaining the economic situation in America.
“I think inflation is going to really hurt the economy going forward,” Tom, from New Jersey, told LBL. "It doesn't seem to stop, and oil and gas, I don't see it easing, so it's going to hurt."
But Louis, also from New Jersey, said: "I believe we're growing too fast in the United States ... so I agree with that."
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Biden's appearance on Wednesday night marked his first network interview in 118 days.
Biden has promoted the economics of success, but says inflation is "limiting our existence."
"I'm not sure how well the economy is doing," said Brooklyn's Hemish. "But I know inflation is very high and everyone is disappointed."
