At 34, Rihanna has quietly achieved another milestone, surpassing other women of her age to become Forbes' youngest self-made billionaire woman in the United States.
Kylie Jenner previously held the title, but according to Forbes' net worth metric, she is no longer considered a billionaire.
In Forbes' list of the Richest Self-Made Women in America, Rihanna is ranked 21st and has an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion.
Kylie Jenner, who has a net worth of $600 million, is ranked 41st.
His 41-year-old sister Kim Kardashian is ranked 16th on this list and has a net worth of $1.8 billion.
Last August, Forbes declared Rihanna a billionaire, largely due to the popularity of her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty.
Rihanna spoke with Rachel Lindsay of Extra in September. Rachel Lindsay explains why she felt threatened by the title of billionaire.
“It’s scary,” she said. “I do think about it all the time. I want to be on the ground.’ .... I don’t want to be this icon…I want to remember who I am.”
