A coin collector is featuring the top Lincoln penny sales from the Red Copper Collection on TikTok.
TikTok user "blueridgesilverhound" will discuss the 15 rarest coins, starting with the 1921 Lincoln wheat cent.
He will show the highest sales from the auction website, Great Collections.
In his first video, he explains why the 1921 penny is worth $59,625, citing its nearly perfect MS-68 grade and certification from the Certified Acceptance Corporation.
The penny is also in perfect condition, with its original red coloring.
Some pennies can be worth more than a car, such as the 1943 bronze Lincoln cent that sold for $204,000 due to a mistake in material and the 1926 penny that sold for $149,500 due to its high MS-65 grade.
The Wheat cent, featuring Lincoln on the obverse and two stalks of wheat on the reverse, was first minted in 1909.
